Garden Club to hold installation luncheon

Kenmore Garden Club will hold its officer installation luncheon, chaired by Norine Sillitto and Carole Zeiher, at The Hideaway Grille, 399 Division St., North Tonawanda, on Tuesday, March 13. Also, historian Lily Zendano will present a PowerPoint program on the year in review. On Tuesday, March 20, the Garden Therapy Committee will meet at Schofield Residence to share a Mardi Gras celebration with residents, including a book reading by Jolaine Houghton. General meetings will resume in April.

Public Library Board to meet on March 13

The Town of Tonawanda Public Library Board will hold a regular meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, at the Kenmore Branch Library, 160 Delaware Road.

Program to discuss dementia research

The Alzheimer’s Association will offer a program detailing advancements in dementia research at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, at the association’s Western New York office, 2805 Wehrle Drive, Suite 6, in Williamsville. To reserve a seat, call 1-800-272-3900 or email program.wny@alz.org.

Spaghetti dinner set at Sikora Post

The Lakeview Animal Sanctuary of Pendleton will be holding its ninth annual basket raffle and spaghetti dinner at the American Legion Sikora Post, 950 Payne Ave., North Tonawanda, on Sunday, March 25. The event will take place at noon, and a spaghetti dinner will be available from 1 to 4:30 p.m. The price for the dinner is $10. The basket raffle drawing will be held at 5 p.m.
