Kenmore native Crista Dashnaw, agency owner of the Crista Dashnaw Agency representing Farmers Insurance, has received the prestigious Blue Vase Award for outstanding performance in life insurance sales.

According to a press release, the Blue Vase Award was presented at the Farmers Insurance annual conference held at Salvatore’s Grand Hotel.

Dashnaw took great pride in the process of achieving her blue vase designation.

Through a consultative approach with her customers, Dashnaw relayed the importance of life insurance, reviewing their needs to find the coverages that would be the best fit to protect family assets after a death, according to the release.

Her background in insurance extends over the past 22 years and includes helping and educating thousands of people about what their insurance coverages mean.

Dashnaw opened her agency nearly one year ago during January 2016 with her longtime friend Gina Urban. It is located at 3062 Delaware Ave. in Kenmore.

The pair had worked together for many years at a previous company. Together their work ethic and values remain the same in helping people find the insurance coverages that best fit their lifestyle, according to the release.
