YMCA to offer diverse camp experiences

Whether it’s splashing in the pool, exploring nature, learning a new skill or going on field trips, summer camp at the YMCA provides an opportunity for children ages kindergarten to 17 years to build relationships and gain important life skills.

Summer camp at the Y provides a variety of activities and adventures beyond traditional day camp, with specialty camps including Arts & Theatre, Gymnastics, Mountain Biking, Camp Tahigwa and overnight resident camp at YMCA Camp Weona.

This year the Y is introducing a science, technology, engineering and math-inspired camp called Mission Innovation at the Southtowns Y.

There are 19 locations to choose from. Camp begins June 27 and runs through Sept. 2.

To learn more or to register, visit the Y online at www.ymcabn.org.
