Towne Players sets dates for upcoming play

The Towne Players will perform “Play On!,” a comedy by Rick Abbott. Shows will be held at 7:30 p.m. on June 17, and 18 and at 2 p.m. on Sundays June 12 and 19.

Skating Club hosting learn to skate program

Buffalo Skating Club will be holding a Learn to Skate program at 6 p.m. each Thursday starting June 16 at the newly-renovated Tacoma Ice Rink, 156 Tacoma Ave., near Delaware Avenue, Buffalo. The program continues through Aug. 18 and classes are available for those three years old through adult, beginners to advanced. The sessions are 50 minutes and include 25 minutes of instruction and 25 minutes of practice. Registration forms are available on the website, Buffaloskatingclub.org. “Fiddler on the Roof” auditions set

The Niagara Regional Theatre Guild announces an audition call for actors, singers and dancers for the first production of the 2011-12 season, “Fiddler On The Roof”. Auditions will be held on Monday and Tuesday, June 20 and 21 at the Ellicott Creek Playhouse, 550 Ellicott Creek Road, Tonawanda. Young adults ages 10 – 15 are asked to come to auditions at 6 p.m. Anyone over the age of 15 is invited to audition beginning at 7 p.m. both days. TOPS weight-loss support offered weekly

YWCA schedules KidBiz training for Canal Fest

The YWCA Tonawandas will host a training session for the Canal Fest KidBiz 10 a.m. Saturday, June 18 at the YWCA, 49 Tremont St., North Tonawanda.
