The student can attend any high school. This year’s scholarship will be in the amount of $1,000.

According to the Kenmore Lions Club, the requirements are:

A letter of recommendation from a teacher or guidance counselor at his or her school.

Letters and essays must be received by the Kenmore Lions Club at P.O. Box 663, Kenmore, NY 14217, no later than April 15.

For 28 years, the scholarships have been funded by donations to the Kenmore Lions Club Memorial Fund.
